Norman Minua knows how to blend different spices of music without leaving a bitter taste in your mouth. The gentleness of layering all the different facets into each other is superb. I hope there will be a lot more of Minua in the future. Favorite track: In Passing.

Olga Kivius This is a lovely album of the young German-Icelandic trio, which consists of bass-clarinet and 2 guitars. The music is extremely melodic and lyrical, sometimes they use experimental cosmic ambient sound, but mainly this music is determened as modern-creative chamber jazz with classical and folklore influences. Very promising debut! Favorite track: Sequence.

Christopher Moklebust Minua composes some incredible duel guitar texture work set to the voice of a one of my most favorite instruments - the bass clarinet. In Passing provides its listeners with melodic longing and a somber and sentimental experience. Favorite track: In Passing.

about

Minua Basel, Switzerland

Minua's music presents itself in constant alteration. Circling around drones and more song-based structures, their style defies genre boundaries with a subtle blend of acoustic and electronic textures.
